Healthy Vegan Oil-Free Pesto Variations

Ingredients

  • Large, ripe avocado
  • 2 c fresh basil
  • Juice of half a lemon or lime
  • 0.5 tsp flavorful, fine-grained sea salt

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a high-power blender.
  2. Blend until a smooth, rich texture develops, scraping down the sides if necessary. If the pesto seems too thick, add a small dash of water and re-blend.
