Healthy Vegan Oil-Free Pesto Variations

Ingredients
- Large, ripe avocado
- 2 c fresh basil
- Juice of half a lemon or lime
- 0.5 tsp flavorful, fine-grained sea salt
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a high-power blender.
- Blend until a smooth, rich texture develops, scraping down the sides if necessary. If the pesto seems too thick, add a small dash of water and re-blend.
- Taste and adjust the citrus juice and salt as you see fit.
- Store the pesto in a sealed container in the fridge.
