Blackberry Tequila Mule (Mexican Mule)
This seasonal tequila mule is easy to make, has a fabulous color, and is perfect for summer parties. It has a very special story too!
Ingredients
- 4-6 large blackberries
- 2 oz blanco tequila
- 0.5 oz fresh-squeezed lime juice
- 3-4 oz low-sugar ginger beer, to top
- Blackberries, lime wheel, mint spring, and/or edible flower for garnish
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the blackberries thoroughly.
- Add the tequila and lime juice to the muddled berries and shake well with ice.
- Using a fine-mesh strainer to remove the berry seeds and pulp, strain the cocktail into a tall, narrow serving glass filled with ice.
- Top with several ounces of ginger beer.
- If desired, garnish with additional blackberries, a lime wheel, a mint spring, and/or an edible flower.
