Blackberry Coconut Margarita
The margarita gets a major summery upgrade with tart, juicy blackberries and sweet, decadent coconut. This tropical blackberry margarita is perfect for sipping on the deck while grilling!
Ingredients
- Small handful of fresh or frozen blackberries
- 1.5 oz blanco tequila
- 1 oz coconut rum
- 1 oz fresh-squeezed lime juice
- Optional dash of agave
- Optional dash (or more) of coconut water
- Few additional fresh blackberries for garnish
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the blackberries vigorously, until they release all their colorful juice.
- Add the tequila, rum, lime juice, agave (optional), and coconut water (optional) to the shaker. Shake well with ice.
- Using a fine-mesh strainer to remove all the blackberry seeds and pulp, pour into a serving glass over ice.
- Add a few additional fresh blackberries for garnish.
